Orange Leaf Freaux Yeaux to be exact!  From the beginning, we all understood that MANDEVILLE was going to be special. It all started with a unique, very open floor plan with an exposed ceiling that gives you the illusion that you are in a "Swanky Club" or a "Very Stylish" Gymnasium.  But no, you are somewhere far superior to a CLUB or GYM, and WAY more YUMMY!  With exposed cylinder air conditioning ducts, it creates a very open atmosphere! Several seating options from our COOL Orange Couches, to our chairs and stools totally unique to ALL Orange Leaf stores.  Being located at 3441 E. Causeway Approach in the Shoppes at Rouses has given Orange Leaf the significant advantage of location, location, location!  Orange Leaf Mandeville will open it's doors next week, on Thursday, November 3rd at 11 am and we just can't wait!  It's VERY important to LIKE our facebook page to get in on the FREAUX YEAUX know!  Also, sign up for "THE LEAF" email newsletter that details the happenings and promotions (Coupons) at the Mandeville Location!  The Ribbon cutting has been scheduled for Friday, December 16th at 10am and the GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION will follow the next day on Saturday, December 17th.  You never know who might show up either...we will let you know soon! Where were you when the world stopped turning 10 years ago?

Sunday is a day some families go to church, a day for relaxation, a day for reflection on your upcoming week events to come and the memories of the week that just passed.  Today, though, is no ordinary Sunday.  It marks the 10th anniversary of "the day the world stopped turning", September 11, 2001.  Where were you? At your office working?  At school?  In an airport?  Do you remember exactly how you felt?  While those feelings of vulnerability, anger, rage, hatred, and sadness have lingered for the past 10 years, healing has begun with forgiveness.  Forgiveness in this instance seems an insurmountable feat.  Yet, it is happening all around us allowing survivors to go on with their life to share their story of endurance, compassion, and will to make our country a safer place to live.

"Older and Wiser" Day celebrated at ORANGE LEAF LA!

On August 19, 1988, President Ronald Reagan issued Proclamation 5847 creating National Senior Citizen's Day to be August 21. In his speech President Reagan said,"For all they have achieved through life and for all they continue to accomplish, we owe older citizens our thanks and gratitude and esteem by making sure that our communities are good places in which to mature and grow older."

At Orange Leaf Louisiana, we couldn't agree more!  Celebrating National Senior Citizen's Day at our Monroe, New Iberia, and Sulphur locations with 50% off Freaux-Yeaux was a hit! The mood was set with ROCKIN' 50's and 60's music and a good time was had by all.  Whether it was the kids that brought in their grandparents or a group of friends stopping by for a refreshing treat, Orange Leaf was the place to be on "Older and Wiser" Day- August 21, 2011!
