"Older and Wiser" Day celebrated at ORANGE LEAF LA!

On August 19, 1988, President Ronald Reagan issued Proclamation 5847 creating National Senior Citizen's Day to be August 21. In his speech President Reagan said,"For all they have achieved through life and for all they continue to accomplish, we owe older citizens our thanks and gratitude and esteem by making sure that our communities are good places in which to mature and grow older."

With the summer almost over and school bells ringing around the state of Louisiana, Orange Leaf LA locations have been full of KIDS that are back from their camps, vacations, or maybe a visit to Grandma and Grandpas!  To beat those Back-to-School blues, Orange Leaf LA had a PAJAMA PARTY for our customers to relax while they enjoyed their favorite FREAUX-YEAUX! People of all ages came out and relaxed with Orange Leaf at our 1st Annual Pajama Party! Fun and Freaux-Yeaux, who could ask for more? Also celebrated last week was BEST FRIENDS Day on August, 15th.  If you brought your BESTIE in, you both got 20% off!  What a deal, right?  Next up, National Senior Citizen's Day...Sunday, August 21st.  Anyone 60 & over receives 50% off their FREAUX-YEAUX!  NOW, that's what we're talkin' about!

Hello number THREE! Sulphur, LA welcomes Orange Leaf with open arms.

THREE!  3 Orange Leaf Louisiana locations to serve customers are NOW OPEN with Sulphur, LA joining the list "officially" with our ribbon cutting held on Friday, August 12th, at 10am. Sulphur mayor Christopher Duncan presided over the opening ceremonies along with the West Calcasieu Association of Commerce.

Shortly thereafter, the Orange Leaf Louisiana team members headed over to KELB radio 100.5 FM to promote the Grand Opening Festivities. There is a first time for everything...this was a WHOLE lot of fun....THANKS, Jackie!

Saturday, the Grand Opening Festivities kicked off into full swing, with face-painting, balloon sculpting, a jelly bean contest for a $25 gift card, and a coloring contest going on all day long.  Cake with some great FREAUX-YEAUX was on tap for the menu, and there were no complaints with that.  Everyone had a GREAT time!  Now, on to the next one....hmmmmm   Will it be Natchitoches or Mandeville...who will win the race? Stay tuned to find out!

To our fellow Freaux-Yeauxers!  Orange Leaf Yogurt Louisiana has officially entered the blogging world & can we say...it's feels good!  The frozen yogurt industry is a FAST moving one.  We are so happy to be on this FREAUX-YEAUX train.  With 3 stores open and 3 coming spoons, our little corporate office is abuzz!  You can imagine what accounting is like...  Anyway, it's nice to join the conversation.  Hello, or Bienvenue, as we say down here in Louisiana!
